Cyanide is proposing a game of real-time strategy game style reminiscent of the Total War series, in which you can manage different armies of the 7 Kingdoms. But not only based on fighting battles will things be resolved in A Game of Thrones - Genesis, because one of the main points in this game is the importance of diplomacy, alliances, infighting, betrayals and political strategies, all are equally as important as the number of soldiers and war machines you have. After all, "Some battles are won with swords and spears, others with feathers and crows."
With a script overseen by George RR Martin himself, in the campaign mode of A Game of Thrones - Genesis you will cross more than 1000 years of the history of "A Song of Ice and Fire" (where you live now is as important as the conquest of the West, the division of the 7 Kingdoms, or the invasion of Aegon the Conqueror into the house of Targaryen and the Trident war). But in addition, it offers a multiplayer mode for up to 8 players, to game for a while!
